Startling headlines with the sad news were everywhere. Our lovable Baby New Year has been taken from us! Oh, the joyous holiday season will never be the same. In fact, every day will be just like the one before until we solve this horrid crime. So what happened? While the world celebrated the end of the old year and the start of the new, the year's first holiday, Baby New Year, was abducted from the cruise ship's nursery. This wicked crime occurred sometime between the hours of 11:00 P.M. and midnight as the "Holidays" were enjoying their annual holiday gala. Father Time, in preparation of his annual "departure" at the stroke of midnight and the "entrance" of Baby New Year, discovered the missing infant. Because the start of the new year holiday calendar is dependent upon the appearance of Baby New Year, the world will be holiday-less until the babe is found. Yes, that's right….NO MORE HOLIDAY CELEBRATIONS! Lovers will have to skip Valentine's Day, the Easter Bunny won't be delivering any eggs or chocolate bunnies this year, forget that Halloween costume, Thanksgiving Day dinner is history and…YIKES!….CHRISTMAS WILL BE CANCELED unless the tike is found! Tell us more! It has been reported that broken hearted children, as well as stunned adults, have joined the FBI and their massive search for the Baby New Year and the culprit/s. The Bureau began interrogating the ship's staff as well as the guests. To date, no arrests have been made. Several leads, however, have arisen but all information at this time must remain confidential - for it will be up to you and your keen detecting skills to decipher just who kidnapped our beloved Baby New Year and identify the motive behind this dastardly deed.
