Terms & Conditions of Sale

These terms govern your purchase and use of the games and hosting services sold by Wild Hearts Publishing ("we", "us") at murdermysteryparty.com. By buying or using our products, you agree to them.

1. Our products

We sell digital murder mystery party games and access to host them through our app. Our games are works of interactive crime fiction, dramatised and inspired by real historical cases. They are not statements of fact about any real person, and the solutions presented are fictional.

2. Your licence to use them

When you buy a game or a pass, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to host and play it for your own private, social gatherings. You may not:

• use our games for public performance, ticketed or commercial events, or any paid activity;
• copy, resell, redistribute, or share your access broadly with others;
• reverse-engineer or repackage the content.

If you would like to run our games commercially or at a venue or event, contact us about a commercial or event licence.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in Australian dollars and [include / exclude] GST. Payment is processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your card details. We may change our prices, but changes will not affect a purchase you have already made.

4. Delivery

Our products are digital. Access is granted immediately after your payment is confirmed. There is nothing physical to ship.

5. Memberships and subscriptions

If you buy a Membership, it renews automatically each [month / year] until you cancel. You can cancel at any time through [your account / by contacting us], and cancellation stops future renewals. See our Refund Policy for how refunds work.

6. Intellectual property

All of the games, writing, artwork, and software remain the property of Wild Hearts Publishing and its licensors. Your purchase gives you a licence to use them, not ownership of them.

7. Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Availability and our liability

We may add, update or withdraw titles and features. To the extent permitted by law, and subject to your consumer rights above, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the product in question.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [your state, Australia], and you submit to the courts of that place.
